As a Speech-Language Pathologist, I’m passionate about supporting individuals in finding their voice and building meaningful connections through communication. I feel privileged to be part of each client’s journey, celebrating their progress, highlighting the small wins, and empowering them to express themselves with confidence. Every person’s story is unique, and I’m honored to walk alongside my clients and their families as they develop the skills that matter most to them. Outside of work, I enjoy baking, exploring new restaurants, and spending quality time with friends and family. I love bringing that same sense of creativity, curiosity, and care into my sessions every day.
Simran Chima is a registered Speech-Language Pathologist with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO) and a member of Speech-Language Audiology Canada (SAC). Simran completed A clinical internship at the Orangeville Speech & Language Clinic in 2024. Her enthusiasm, dedication, and connection with clients made a lasting impression on all of us. We knew that if the opportunity arose, Simran would be a top choice to join our team!
Simran completed graduate studies at McMaster University and received her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology in 2025. She completed diverse clinical placements at Brampton Civic Hospital, the Halton District School Board, and the Peel District School Board. She earned her Bachelor of Science in the Honours Life Science Program, with a Minor in Psychology, from McMaster University in 2023.
Simran is passionate about providing person-centered care that honours each individual’s unique values, strengths, and interests. She has a special interest in working with preschool and school-aged children and their families in the areas of language development, literacy, social-emotional growth, and complex communication needs. Simran has experience providing assessment and therapy to children and adults across a variety of settings and is dedicated to creating supportive, engaging environments where clients can reach their full potential.
