Updated April, 2021
We continue to be open for in-person appointments and we encourage virtual care.
We have carefully developed health and safety protocols to provide in-person sessions. We will continue to offer virtual therapy in addition to in-person sessions so you can make the best choice for your family. We have now provided over 2000 Zoom therapy sessions using Zoom Telehealth (a specialized upgrade for health care providers to ensure your virtual privacy and security). Thank you to all of our amazing SLPs and the many families who assisted us to help make evidence-based virtual care successful.
We will continue to update our health protocols for in-person sessions as we receive information from the Ministry of Health and our regulatory College. We will review our COVID procedures with you so each family knows what to expect and has the opportunity to ask questions.
As an example, we have eliminated the use of our waiting room and administrative staff are working virtually. All contact surfaces and therapy materials are cleaned and disinfected after each client according to strict guidelines. We will discuss personalized PPE options for families. We carefully screen ourselves and all people attending the appointment for COVID symptoms and ask you not to attend in-person if you are feeling ill or have travelled. We follow hand hygiene protocols from the Ministry of Health.
Your health and safety is our priority. As always, we will work to ensure that our sessions together are fun and effective! New referrals are welcome and can contact us by email or phone to learn more about our services.
I hope you and your family are taking care and staying healthy.
